Bride Veil.

Represents:

1. Purity.

Historically know for innocent and virginity. It also served to shroud her beauty from the groom and guests until the moment of revelation.

2. Protection.

 In some cultures, it signifies the protection of bad spirits, jealousy and negative energy.

3. New beginnings.

The act of lifting the veil can symbolize the transition from maidenhood to married life, or the unveiling of the bride to her new husband and family.

4. Respect.

In some traditions, the veil signifies humility and respect for the sacredness of the marriage ceremony.

5. Mystery and romance.

The veil can also add an element of mystery and romance, building anticipation for the moment the groom sees his bride's face.

6. Social status.

 In some historical periods, the length and elaborateness of a veil could indicate a family's wealth or social status.
